All members receive a free lunch for themselves and their children to our yearly Members' Christmas BBQ held at Hazelwood Park. Children of members also receive a gift from Santa. 

 

Members of the Association must be over the age of 18 years and have an interest in the attainment of the Objects of the Association.

 

The Objects of the Association are:

 

(a) to promote and maintain unity friendship, welfare and close ties between people with an interest in Samian culture and heritage and South Australia.

 

(b) the promotion and maintenance of Hellenic culture, ethos and language amongst the people of South Australia particularly among the youth with an interest in Samian culture and heritage.

 

(c) The exchange of education, cultural, tradition and social ties between people in Australia, Greece, and elsewhere in the world with an interest in Samian culture and heritage. 

 

(e) to extend aid of general character to hospitals, educational and charity institutions and

persons as may be considered by the Committee.  

 

Annual membership shall commence on the 1 January and end of 31 December.
